The Las Vegas Raiders have the weekend off, but here are some key games to keep an eye on as the Silver and Black enjoy their bye week.
Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season is upon us, and for the Las Vegas Raiders, that means taking the weekend off for the first time in months. As the Silver and Black enjoy their bye week, you can be sure they will be glued to their televisions, as they look at the teams they are trying to catch after their 1-4 start.
Here, we look at two games that seriously impact the Raiders as they take the weekend off.
Las Vegas Raiders: Games to keep an eye on during the 2022 bye week
Bills at Chiefs
We start with the team that just beat the Silver and Black, as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills inside Arrowhead Stadium this weekend. This is a rematch of the classic Divisional Round matchup between these two franchise, a see-saw battle that saw the Chiefs advance to the AFC title game.
However, this season, the Bills look to be the best team in all of football, and despite the Chiefs being at home, Buffalo is favored. Las Vegas needs the AFC West teams to lose as many games as possible, so for this Sunday, we are all Bills Mafia.
Broncos at Chargers
On Monday night, incredibly, the lowly Denver Broncos will get to take place in another primetime matchup. Denver has not been as good as advertised since trading for Russell Wilson, and in this one, they will face a Chargers team that may be too much to handle.
Most disappointing Las Vegas Raiders so far in 2022
The Las Vegas Raiders record is a disappointing sight heading into the bye week, and here are some players who have been disappointing as well.
The Broncos are by far the worst team in the AFC West, no matter what the records may say, and the Chargers should have no problem beating them inside SoFi Stadium. A loss by either team would be fine for the Silver and Black, but it may benefit the Raiders more if the Broncos can pull this one off.
