Las Vegas Raiders: Potential trade targets before the 2022 NFL Trade Deadline

Because of the Raiders’ uncertainty on the offensive line, there has been much speculation that the team would try to trade for Patriots right tackle Isaiah Wynn. However, the Raiders’ offensive line hasn’t been as bad as many thought it would be.

They certainly aren’t the reason why Las Vegas is 1-4. They’ve been exceptional at moving the ball on the ground, opening up holes for Josh Jacobs on both sides of the line. The team’s pass protection remains a major question mark, though.

If Zeigler and Josh McDaniels feel as though they need an upgrade on the right side of the unit, they could try to strike a deal with their former team and nab Wynn. While Wynn certainly isn’t the best right tackle in the league, he is definitely better than what Las Vegas has right now.

He’s shown good strength and length on the outside, and he should be able to make Carr feel a bit safer in the pocket.

Also, the asking price for Wynn shouldn’t be too high. While yes, he was a first-round pick, he hasn’t exactly played to the elite level that comes with a first-round pick. If Zeigler can swing a good deal, he might be able to get Wynn for a third or fourth-round pick.

Obviously, there are a lot of avenues the Raiders could take before this year’s deadline. They can add, and of course, they could sell as well. That most likely depends on how the team performs in their next two games, and if they feel they can make a serious run for the playoffs. Regardless of what the outcome in those games is, good or bad, expect Las Vegas to be very active before the deadline.
