Las Vegas Raiders: “Rome” did not need to be built by new regime

Building Rome was not needed

Heading into the 2023 offseason, a huge rebuild could be coming, starting with starting quarterback, Derek Carr. While some could argue a new quarterback is not needed, finishing with a top-3 draft pick would almost automatically lead to a change at the position, whether that is the right thing to do or not.

After finishing 10-7, the Raiders did not need a rebuild, they just needed to reload, and keep moving forward. After starting 2-7, and possibly headed towards one of their worst seasons in recent memory, the franchise may not be able to avoid blowing it up.

So where do the Raiders go from here? According to Davis, McDaniels is not going anywhere, and that could spell serious trouble for the franchise in 2022, and beyond. This was supposed to be a year that saw the Raiders possibly win a playoff game, but after seeing their effort the last three weeks, we will be lucky if they win another fame this season.
