The Las Vegas Raiders head home to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in AFC West action, as they look to continue to turn their season around.
For the first time in weeks, the Las Vegas Raiders will head home to Allegiant Stadium, as they swept a two-game road swing against Denver and Seattle in Weeks 11 and 12. For the Silver and Black, those two wins could not have been more exciting, as they worked overtime in both, and saw their stars come up clutch.
In Week 11, Derek Carr hit Davante Adams only a few plays into overtime for a 35-yard game-winning touchdown, sealing a comeback win in Denver. Then, this past Sunday, Josh Jacobs had over 300 all-purpose yards, capping his day by scoring on an 86-yard touchdown run in overtime against Seattle.
If these last two games are any indication, the Raiders are not going to be pushed around in the second half of the year and may have some magic left in them in 2022. Here, we look at the early odds and prediction for their AFC West battle against Los Angeles on Sunday.
Raiders vs Chargers Odds Week 13
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are slight underdogs at home in this one, getting 1.5 points from the Chargers. The over/under is currently set at 50.5, so there should be some offense on display Sunday. A money line bet on the Silver and Black would come in at +108, while a pick on the Chargers is listed at -126, so either way, you slice it, you are going to nearly, or at least double your money.
Raiders vs Chargers Prediction Week 13
We went with the Silver and Black last weekend against all odds, and while it may have seemed like a homer pick at the time, Las Vegas came through with a stunning overtime victory. Call us crazy again, but we like the Raiders in this one as well, as the team is riding a high after back-to-back overtime victories.
Raiders 2023 7-round mock draft: Las Vegas needs met in draft haul
The Las Vegas Raiders have plenty of draft capital, and even after nearly falling out of the top-10, they meet their draft needs in this mock.
As he usually does, Justin Herbert is going to get his against the Raiders, but with so many injuries for the Chargers, including at center and possibly Mike Williams, I like the Las Vegas defense to continue to get pressure. On offense, if a healthy Josh Jacobs is ready to go, and that is a big if, then they should be able to move the ball at will against this Los Angeles defense.
Final Score: Raiders 31, Chargers 30
