The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 16, and here is the early odds and prediction for the matchup.

After beating the New England Patriots in shocking fashion on Sunday afternoon, the Las Vegas Raiders will now head east on a short week to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night. This Christmas Eve matchup is another must-win game for the Silver and Black, who have wasted so many opportunities to be a legitimate playoff contender this season.

A case in point was Sunday, where they once again blew a 14-point halftime lead, and needed a once-in-a-lifetime play from Chandler Jones to win it, 30-24. Against the Steelers on the road, they will need a much better effort, especially with the temperatures expected to be in the single-digits.

Raiders at Steelers Odds Week 16

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are a slight underdog on the road in this one, getting 2.5 points from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The over/under is currently set at 39.5, so the expectation is that points could be at a premium on Christmas Eve night. A money line bet on the Silver and Black would come in at +128, while a pick on the Steelers is -152, so whichever team you pick on the money line is basically going to double you up.

Raiders at Steelers Prediction Week 16

The Silver and Black have not fared well in cold temperatures with Derek Carr as their quarterback, and that will be tested once again on Saturday night. However, the Steelers are in tough shape going into this matchup, and will be relying on Kenny Pickett to keep their playoff hopes alive, something you never want as a coach.

Both teams are still technically alive in the playoff race, but both will need to win on Saturday night, and get a lot of help the rest of the way to clinch a Wild Card spot. For the Raiders, the momentum from the win on Sunday should pass over to this matchup, and with their season on the line, they get it done against Pittsburgh in frigid temperatures on Christmas Eve.

Final Score: Raiders 24, Steelers 21
