The Las Vegas Raiders were well-represented on the top-101 players list put out by Pro Football Focus for the 2022 NFL season.
Despite the 6-11 record during the 2022 NFL season, the Las Vegas Raiders did have their fair share of bright spots, individually. In fact, they had arguably the best wide receiver and running back in the game on their roster, as well as a top-3 defensive player coming off the edge.
The problem with the 2022 Raiders was the fact that they could not hold onto leads, and that led to some devastating losses. Recently, Pro Football Focus put out a list of the top-101 players from the 2022 NFL season, and Las Vegas was well-represented, showing that there were key players who stepped up despite all the losing.
One of those key players was the No. 1 Raiders player on the list, star running back Josh Jacobs. Jacobs led the NFL in both rushing yards, and yards from scrimmage, establishing himself as one of the best young players at his position group in the game.
Raiders RB Josh Jacobs leads the way at No. 10 overall
Looking at the rankings put out by PFF, Jacobs came in at No. 10 overall, and was the first running back mentioned by the media outlet. Joining him in the top-20 was Davante Adams, the incredibly talented wide receiver who came over to Las Vegas via trade last offseason, and proceeded to set the team’s single-season receiving yards record.
Madd Maxx Crosby came in at No. 23 on the list, this after leading the NFL in pressures despite drawing double-teams, and being held on seemingly every play. Crosby has become one of the best young defensive players in the game, and could end up being an all-time Raider by the time he is done in the Silver and Black.

2023 NFL Draft: Top-3 positions the Las Vegas Raiders must target at No. 7
Draft season is here and the Raiders have plenty of needs to address. There are many positions to focus on, but these three are the most important...
Rounding out the foursome that made the list was Kolton Miller, the team’s franchise left tackle. Miller was rated the 63rd best player in the NFL by Pro Football Focus, and on an offensive line that saw so much change in 2022, he proved to once again be a steady anchor on the left side all season long.
