Why the Las Vegas Raiders need to trade for CB Jalen Ramsey

Raiders need more playmakers on defense

Outside of Maxx Crosby, the Raiders do not have an elite player on defense. Honestly, they might not even have another above-average player. Adding Ramsey accomplishes two things. First, it gives your defense an identity and some much-needed attitude. As anyone who watches Ramsey knows, he is good and he will let you know about it.

Second, it would give Las Vegas another playmaker. During all those end-of-game situations where the team basically was counting on Crosby to make a play, he would have some elite help on the back end in Ramsey.

As mentioned, the Raiders are no strangers to big moves under this regime after the Adams trade last off-season. This year, they must make an equally big addition on the defensive side of the ball. Jalen Ramsey is a perfect fit.
