Why the Las Vegas Raiders need to trade for CB Jalen Ramsey

How does he fit?

On the heels of an off-season where the team traded assets for one of the league’s best players in Davante Adams, they should dip their toes back into the water this off-season. For Jalen Ramsey, it would be well worth it, and likely won’t cost the same price as Adams.

Like all elite players, Ramsey is fit for every scheme in the NFL. On the Raiders, he would undoubtedly slot in as the team’s number-one cornerback. Likely to be tasked with taking away the opposing offense’s number-one receiving option, he gives the Las Vegas defense a much-needed facelift.

Since the Rams are in need of cap relief, and the entire league knows he’s available, it is anyone’s guess what it would cost to acquire Ramsey. Entering his age 29 season, the superstar defensive back still has three years left on his deal. Likely to cost a combination of day two picks, he is well worth that price.
