Rory’s Take: For me Dennard has made massive strides and has become one of my favorite corners in this draft with Justin Gilbert. The Lions really need to match their pass rush with cornerbacks and this would be an awesome addition.
Chase’s Take: Another situation where a team can add an elite prospect who is also a local collegiate star. Dennard had his problems in the Rose Bowl tackling the physical Stanford team, but that is what training camp and player development is for. He is physical in coverage and is considered to be the best corner in this draft alongside Gilbert. I like this pick.
