Every year there seems to be another tight end emerge in college football as a first round pick and this years tight end is Eric Ebron. North Carolina’s Ebron was linked to the Raiders in the latest edition of Just Blog Baby Mock Draft and that is because of his elite athleticism for a tight end. Ebron is extremely confident in his ability as he recently stated he would run a faster 40 yd dash than his former teammate Gio Bernard. Eric is listed at 6′ 4″ 245 lbs, if he lights up the combine the way he thinks he can there will be heavy consideration for him being a top 10 pick in May. If the Raiders were to fall in love with Ebron at the combine and draft him 5th overall it will no question come with a lot of controversy. But the fact remains the same Ebron has the potential to be a game changing TE in the mold of Vernon Davis and pairing him with incumbent TE Mychal Rivera would create match up problems all over the field for the Raiders next season.
