De’Anthony Thomas entered college at Oregon with a lot of hype as being the next big thing. while he did have three solid seasons in Eugene, he did not have the impact many expected of him. Many of the problems with Thomas is his injury problems that plagued him in college. Thomas is unquestionably one of the fastest players appearing at the combine and should challenge for fastest 40 time. If Thomas is able to show improvement in his hands and clear any questions about his health at the combine, he is poised to make a huge jump up draft boards. Thomas is one of the few proven playmakers that will be available in the later rounds of the draft because he is undersized and has an injury history. The Raiders are desperate to add playmakers on offense and Thomas could be the guy they target in the later rounds. Thomas will light up the speed and agility drills at the combine and those types of players are always fun to keep an eye on.
