Carr Will Drive Oakland Raiders to Week 1 Win

Jets Running Game Concerns

Jets running backs Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory have looked good this preseason so I do have concerns there. Ryan likes to “ground and pound to eat up the clock while resting his defense to get a stops when they go back on the field. So I have some concerns about that while that as the Raiders were decent against the run last year but could’t stop it this preseason.

But I don’t think the Jets will be able to stop the Carr led Raiders offense to the point where all they have to do is “ground and pound.” The Raiders just have to get ahead to nullify the running game and the Jets secondary will make that possible. Then again we didn’t see the Raiders real defense this preseason as they will throw eight in the box and try to force 3rd-and-long for Smith.
