Ras-I Dowling

Ras-I Dowling, a former second-round pick for the New England Patriots in the 2012 NFL draft, has had just two starts since entering the NFL, but he made his presence known in Oakland’s first preseason matchup.

The former University of Virginia corner finished Oakland’s preseason opener as the highest-rated cornerback according to Pro Football Focus, via Flores.

Though the possibility of Dowling actually seeing playtime during the regular season is certainly low due to his position deep down the depth chart, it is still exciting to hear that he is having a positive impact early in the 2015 season.
