Special Teams
Kicker: Sebastian Janikowski
Punter: Marquette King
Kick Returner: Taiwan Jones
Punt Returner: T.J. Carrie
Holder: Marquette King
Long Snapper: Jon Condo
There aren’t really any surprises here when it comes to Oakland’s kicker, punter and long snapper position, as there really isn’t any competition for the three.
Now entering his 16th season in the league, Sebastian Janikowski looked as good as ever in Week 3, as he hit all five of field goal attempts against Arizona.
After spending nearly the entire 2014 season on the injured reserve, Taiwan Jones, now listed as a running back, should return kicks for Oakland in 2015. Jones was the kick returner in Oakland in 2013.
With the release of Trindon Holliday, T.J. Carrie is the next in line to return punts. Though Carrie is a decent return man, Oakland may look to someone else to assume the role before the regular season, for Carrie is simply to valuable to have him returning punts all year.
