FanSided.com’s John Buhler is the new captain running this awesome ship that is Just Blog Baby. If you love the Oakland Raiders, let’s have a good time.

What’s good, Raider Nation!

Though I’m from a different part of the country than most of y’all, I’ve admired this favorite team from afar for a while now. Getting back into the AFC Playoffs was most excellent for the Oakland Raiders. Though the team is moving to Las Vegas in few years, I’m excited to see what the future holds for this potential AFC juggernaut football team.

There’s something about the Silver and Black and a Commitment to Excellence that has me amped about coming aboard as Just Blog Baby’s new Editor-in-Chief. I’ve been around the FanSided network since April 2015, mostly with FanSided.com and ATL All Day before that.

Exciting times are to be had with this Mötley Crüe in the AFC West. The division is tough, but these are the Raiders, baby and they aren’t apologizing to nobody.

It doesn’t matter if you’re from the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Atlanta like me, we can all get behind these four things:

  1. The Oakland Raiders are amazing.
  2. The Denver Broncos are not.
  3. The Kansas City Chiefs definitely are not.
  4. The San Diego Los Angeles Chargers will play in a soccer stadium, so that’s neat.

2017 is going to be a great year for the Silver and Black. Derek Carr will be a champion one day, as long as Amari Cooper stops dropping passes! We just can’t bring the terrifying Nick Saban to the Coliseum eight days a year to magically make him play better. Execute Your Task! (You know what I’m trying to say here, right?)

More from Just Blog Baby

Khalil Mack is an inspiration to everyone that you can be elite as long as you get far away from Buffalo. I’m glad he’s the team’s best player. The dude is amazing and Return of the Mack is the most underrated song from the 1990s.

I’d trust this Raiders offensive line to protect my house better than Ackerman, ADT, or SimpliSafe. Marshawn Lynch, we’re glad you’re still about that action, boss. Here’s to you tasting the rainbow every time you find glorious pay dirt. Marquette King is also the champion of punters and it’s not even close. I Ginuwine-ly believe that.

Is this team winning Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis? Well, the Raiders have to go into Foxborough and beat those delightful New England Patriots in January. Newsflash: Snow is zero fun and neither was The Tuck Rule. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Hopefully the Silver and Black can do that.

Next: Oakland Raiders: The franchise's all-time team

Basically, we’re gonna have a lot of fun this fall, win or lose. Except during ties. Those are dumb and American football doesn’t need those. I’m glad to be on board at JBB. So let’s do this thang and hope the boys win the Lombardi Trophy in February.

Stay excellent, my new friends,

Buhler
