Apparently, Raider Nation caught a break with Carr’s injury, as it looks to be of the week-to-two-week variety. Carr could have been out until mid-November with that fracture. Now it looks like he will start on Sunday at home versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Missing only one week after that injury would be incredible.
Even in his absence, backup quarterback EJ Manuel played alright. He hovered around 50 percent accuracy in his passes, but he made some plays with his arms and legs to keep the Raiders in this game. It was the defense that and that awful fumble in the first quarter that let the Raiders down on Sunday.

As long as Carr is playing quarterback for the Raiders, Oakland has a chance to win the game. Oakland is in a favorable stretch of its season. The Raiders will need to rattle off a few victories, but if they can stay around .500 and not crater, Oakland can definitely put together a solid end to their season and get back into the AFC playoffs.
