5 reasons Oakland Raiders will beat Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6

Derek Carr is back under center for the Silver and Black
Though EJ Manuel did his best, it wasn’t good enough to give the Raiders a Week 5 victory the team needed last week. After sitting out a game with a back injury, Sunday will be the return of Derek Carr for the Silver and Black.
Admittedly, Carr has not played well this season. He has struggled with his downfield accuracy and can’t seem to get into rhythm with his receivers. Yes, it would help it they weren’t dropping seemingly every other pass, but I’ll digress.
When Carr is playing quarterback for the Raiders, Oakland always has a chance to come out of a game with a victory. He is the spark that this team needs on the field. His charismatic leadership style and never-say-die approach to quarterbacking late in games means the Raiders are rarely out of it with him under center.
By bringing Carr back into the fold, it evens the playing field at the quarterback position in this game. Philip Rivers will do his best to keep the Chargers in this one, but he might once again be let down by his supporting cast. Oakland has slightly more offensive talent than the Chargers. Look for Carr to unlock all that on Sunday afternoon.
