5 Oakland Raiders to watch vs. Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7

Though the passing game has been massively underwhelming for the Raiders, one player that is certainly holding his own in Michael Crabtree. He leads the team in most receiving categories. One could argue that he has surpassed Amari Cooper as the team’s No. 1 receiver in recent weeks.

Until we see Cooper right the ship, Crabtree is the best offensive weapon Oakland has to work with. He can possession receive like one of the best in the business. Crabtree has had no problem finding pay dirt this season. He did so last week versus Los Angeles early in the game.

Kansas City normally has one of the better secondaries in all of football. However, we do need to keep in mind that safety Eric Berry is out for the season with an Achilles’ injury. Replacing him is Daniel Sorensen, who isn’t exactly filling Berry’s shoes to perfection.

There will be opportunities for Crabtree to make big plays to hopefully elevated this flat Raiders offense. Perhaps a third early score on the season for Crabtree could be exactly what the Raiders need to pull off a thrilling upset victory over their division rival on Thursday Night?
