However, the Cowboys lost earlier in the year to the Falcons. The Cowboys may need to win out and get to 10-6 if they want any shot at the No. 6 seed this season. Dallas will need to win on the road with running back Ezekiel Elliott to keep its playoff dreams alive.
Oakland enters play at 6-7 on the season and is still alive in the AFC West and wild card races. The Raiders are a game back of both the Kansas City Chiefs (7-6) and the Los Angeles Chargers (7-6) in the AFC West. Oakland is also a game back of the Buffalo Bills (7-6) for the No. 6 seed in the AFC wild race.
However, the Raiders don’t have the tiebreaker over any of those three teams. Like Dallas, the Raiders will have to win out and finish at 9-7 to have any realistic shot of making the AFC playoffs.
