The AFC West is loaded with some talented wide receivers, but the combination of Tyrell Williams and Antonio Brown may be the best.

The AFC West is going to be one of the better divisions in football next season, as two of the teams made it to the playoffs last season, boasting the best records in the conference. The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers both won 12 games, and will head into next season as the favorites to win the AFC West.

However, the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos have gotten better this offseason, and the Raiders in particular, have been one of the most impressive franchises in football. They have pulled off a huge trade for former Pro Bowl wideout Antonio Brown, and added guys like Trent Brown, Tyrell Williams, and Lamarcus Joyner to the roster as well.

In Williams and Brown, the Raiders could have the best wide receiver duo in the division, which is something that head coach Jon Gruden wanted. He went out and got the best wide receiver in football in Brown, and pairing him with Williams makes this offense downright scary next season.

One look at this roster at the end of last season, and it is pretty easy to see that the Raiders wide receiver group went from a negative, to a positive very quickly. The Raiders ended last season with Jordy Nelson and not much else at the position group, so it was clear that this would be an area Gruden  targeted this offseason.

Looking around the division, there are some fantastic wideout tandems, including in Kansas City, where Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins lead the group. Hill has had his issues off the field this offseason, and it remains to be seen whether or not he has to deal with some kind of punishment from the league, so that is something to keep an eye on.

In Los Angeles, the loss of Tyrell Williams is going to hurt, but they still have Keenan Allen, who is one of the better wideouts in all of football. Allen will be joined atop the depth chart by Mike Williams, who was a first round pick of the team back in 2017.

Denver has great youth at the position heading into next season, as Courtland Sutton performed well as a rookie, and they did re-sign Emmanuel Sanders this offseason. Quarterback Joe Flacco will have a better receiving group than he did in Baltimore, but it remains to be seen whether or not he is still a winning quarterback.

For Oakland, the tandem of Brown and Williams gives them two guys who can take the lid off the defense, and have the ability to make plays all over the field. Oakland did not take many shots deep last season, but they are certain to do just that now that Brown and Williams lead this group.

For my money, this is the best wide receiver duo in the league, and the addition of J.J. Nelson was a nice topping on the cake. Brown is the best wide receiver Carr has ever had, and Williams is a freak of nature, so this passing attack will certainly be a fun one to watch next season.

Of course, for all of this to work, Carr is going to need time in the pocket, which is why they spent big money on Trent Brown this offseason to pair with Kolton Miller at the offensive tackle positions. They have elite guys in the middle in Rodney Hudson and Gabe Jackson, who should move over to the left side now that Kelechi Osemele is gone.
