Who’s Gone

Tahir Whitehead

While he did not go into the offseason as a free agent, linebacker Tahir Whitehead is now a free agent, and will be free to sign elsewhere. The move to release Whitehead was really a cap decision, as he did not play up to his contract with the Raiders, and the team is looking to revamp the entire linebacker room.

Karl Joseph

The team’s first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft is no longer with the team, as he signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday. Joseph, who was playing his best football with the team before an injury ended his season, will slide right into a starting role with the Browns, who are once again having a busy offseason.

As we continue through the offseason, we will see a ton of Raiders find new homes, as Mike Mayock is still trying to rebuild this roster for the long haul. Keep checking back to see who is gone, and were they have gone, as we will update this list with that information as well.
