Week 8: Raiders at Browns

Entering Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns, the Raiders will be one game removed from their bye week. After a dreadful 2019 season, Cleveland reconstructed their coaching staff this offseason, hiring Kevin Stefanski to take over at the helm for Freddie Kitchens.

The Browns have possessed a talented roster over the last two years, but still haven’t found the recipe to put all the pieces together. The Browns offensive line should have much better pass protection compared to their efforts in 2019, but just as they improved in that area, the Raiders also added numerous starters on the defensive side of the ball, adding depth to their greatest weakness last season.

Circle this matchup as a Karl Joseph revenge game, as he hit the free-agent market this offseason for the first time in his career after spending the last four years in Oakland. Can Baker Mayfield rediscover the magic from his rookie season, or does this new-look Raiders defense pummel him? This is going to be an exciting matchup in Cleveland.
