AFC West Roundup Week 1: Raiders earn first win of the Las Vegas Era

Los Angeles Chargers

The matchup between Los Angeles and Cincinnatti was a low-scoring affair for much of the game, and it ultimately came down to a botched field goal attempt that sealed the game. Only this time, contrary to past history, the muffed field goal worked in favor of the Chargers, who left Cincinnati with a 16-13 win over the Bengals.

First overall pick Joe Burrow looked promising in his debut, helping march the Bengals down the field in the fourth quarter to set up a potential game-winning field goal. Yet Randy Bullock could not connect on the 31-yard attempt, leaving Joe Burrow winless in his debut and sending Los Angeles to 1-0 on the season.

Next week the Chargers will take their undefeated record to SoFi Stadium for their home opener against Patrick Mahomes and division rival Kansas City Chiefs.
