4 Las Vegas Raiders who have played surprisingly well in 2020

Denzelle Good

Although it shouldn’t be a surprise that Denzelle Good is playing well, but it’s the versatility he has shown thus far this season, and the quality of play he has exhibited while moving all along the offensive line earns him a spot on this list.  He started off the season as the backup to right guard Gabe Jackson, moved over to right tackle after started Trent Brown left in Week 1 due to a calf injury, then played left guard this past Sunday.

It is that kind of versatility that makes him such an important part of this Raiders offensive line. With Brown and Richie Incognito out, the team needed guys to step up, and both Good, and rookie John Simpson did just that.

As Incognito is aiming to be ready to return when the Raiders return to play at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Good returns to his back up role, it is a relief knowing that if someone goes down, they have a player like Good who can step up. This is an offensive line that has seen their fair share of injuries the past two years, so Good’s value continues to rise in the organization.
