3 free agents that should follow Raiders new OC to Las Vegas
By Brad Weiss
This week, the Las Vegas Raiders finally filled their vacant offensive coordinator spot, bringing in Luke Getsy from the Chicago Bears Getsy was fired from the Bears after two sub-par seasons in the same role, which is something that should concern Raiders fans going into this offseason.
In Chicago, Getsy had a dynamic quarterback in Justin Fields, but also one who could no replicate the kind of magic he runs the football with, with the way he attacks the passing game. In Las Vegas, the incumbent starter is a pocket passer with very little mobility, so unless the Raiders bring in a new quarterback this offseason, Getsy is walking into a very different scenario.
Still, there is reason to be excited about the hiring of Getsy, as he had a nice run with the Green Bay Packers before landing in Chicago, working directly with Davante Adams. He was also the passing game coordinator for Aaron Rodgers' two MVP seasons, so while he could not get it going in the passing game in Chicago, that does not mean the same is going to happen with him in the desert.
Here, we look at three Chicago Bears free agents that should follow Getsy to the Raiders.
