Raiders NFL Mock Draft: Trading back and landing a franchise QB

220. Brodric Martin DT Western Kentucky

With the 220th overall selection, the Raiders draft an absolute mountain of a man in defensive tackle Brodric Martin out of Western Kentucky. Martin measures in at just under 6-5 and 330 pounds. He is a prototypical nose tackle and could become a great run defender for the Raiders.

He started his career at the FCS level with North Alabama before transferring to Western Kentucky in 2021 and earning honorable mention all-CUSA awards with the Hilltoppers. He was not invited to the NFL combine but had a good showing at his pro day and looks like a legitimate nose tackle prospect because of his size and strength.

Martin projects as a rotational defensive tackle and is exactly the type of guy that you want in the middle of your defense to draw double teams and clog up running lanes. He likely won't bring any pass rush ability but his job is primarily to occupy space and he could do just that in the middle of the Raider defense. It's
