As we wait with baited breath for the televised portion of the NFL Scouting Combine, and to get word about who our beloved Raiders are interviewing and showing special interest in, we may turn our attention briefly to the looming free agent signing period, set to begin at 1 PM Pacific on March 10th.
The period during which teams can designate Franchise and Transition tagged players began yesterday and runs through March 2nd. Prior to 1 PM PT on the 10th, teams must submit their qualifying tenders, match offer sheets, or exercise options on players for whom those scenarios apply, and at 1:01 PT on March 10th, the full unrestricted free agency market will begin for the 2015 league year.
