In free agency, the Raiders didn’t bring in any stars and that didn’t make most of Raider Nation happy. Remember, G.M. Reggie McKenzie’s philosophy is build through the draft. So he brought some solid players to build around Mack to make him the big star than he was drafted to be in 2014.

He will now get more opportunities to make the kind of plays the he can and Raiders fans want to see. The secondary and front seven are there to give quarterbacks in the AFC West headaches. Now we head to the 2015 NFL Draft where the Raiders will draft more stars like Leonard Williams to build around Khalil Mack, hopefully the right player is there to add to their franchise talent from 2014, but regardless of who is picked on defense it will be to build around the talents of a player who is on the rise to becoming a star in Oakland in Mack.
