5 reasons Oakland Raiders will beat Washington Redskins

The best thing the Raiders can do in this game is to keep Carr upright in a clean pocket. Through the last year plus in football, Oakland has established itself as having one of the best offensive lines in football.

How many other teams have three top-three players at their respective position along the offensive line in the game? Donald Penn is a Pro Bowl left tackle and a great technician in the passing game.

Kelechi Osemele might be the best guard in all of football, playing with that mean streak of his. Rodney Hudson is establishing himself as one of the best centers in a league full of talented centers.

Gabe Jackson is good, but still has room to grow at right guard. Even newcomer Marshall Newhouse has played well in the first two games.

He hasn’t surrendered a pressure in Weeks 1 or 2. Given that the Raiders might have the best pass blocking offensive line in football, all that does is allows Carr to be more accurate and confident from the pocket.
