Recent Games

This is an early must-win game for both teams. With Kansas City possibly moving to 4-0 on Monday night with a home win over Washington, the loser of Raiders at Broncos could be two games back of the Chiefs with its first division loss of the season.

Oakland is 2-1 on the year with wins in its first two games over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville and the New York Jets at home. The Raiders looked solid in those first two games, definitely resembling a top-five team in football. That Washington loss knocked them down a peg, but most still find Oakland to be a playoff team in the AFC.

Denver is also 2-1 on the year. The Broncos beat the division rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. They fell for the first time this season on the road against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.

Denver’s perception has been a little more up and down when compared to the Raiders. The Broncos defense is excellent, but the offense comes and goes. It does look to be better than last year’s, but Denver may not get the early season acclaim of Oakland in the AFC hierarchy.

This is a tough spot for the Raiders. Not having Crabtree could make passing the football even more difficult for Derek Carr. Going against the No Fly Zone at Mile High is a tough task for even the best of teams. Oakland is certainly capable of getting the win. Let’s hope the Silver and Black can put forth a better effort than last week and get to 3-1 by beating the Broncos.
